BROADCHAINS FINTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Android developer to design and implement user-facing features for Android applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to ship scalable features, integrate real-time APIs, and uphold high performance and quality standards.

The role emphasizes MVVM/MVI architectures, Jetpack components, and robust testing practices to ensure a reliable and responsive app experience. Collaboration across product and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Android fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of Android system architecture, lifecycle, and UI rendering.
• Experience with Jetpack components such as ViewModel and Room.
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and modern Android networking patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MVVM/MVI and modular app architecture.
• Proven track record of performance optimization and issue diagnosis.
• Familiarity with debugging and profiling tools such as Profiler, Systrace, Perfetto, and LeakCanary.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new user-facing features for Android applications.
• Build stable, efficient, and high-performance code with strong attention to user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features at scale.
• Integrate third-party APIs and data sources, including real-time and low-latency services.
• Write unit tests and improve robustness, reliability, and edge-case handling.
• Troubleshoot issues, fix critical bugs, and continuously improve app performance.
• Participate in technical and architectural discussions and contribute to long-term product direction.
• Work on performance optimization across memory, layout, battery, rendering, networking, and cold start.
• Support modularization, codebase maintainability, and large-scale refactoring efforts.
• Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and engineering quality standards.
