Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) APAC Research Data Operations is seeking a data operations professional to ensure the quality and consistency of property market data across APAC markets. You will support data underpinning research, insights, and client deliverables, collaborating with local market research teams and stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to large datasets, regional market dynamics, and AI/automation tools, with opportunities to develop data skills and contribute to quarterly data

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a data operations management role, ideally within a commercial real estate sector.
• Experience in data analysis and/or database management or related data/analytics field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in data-intensive processes.
• Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and apply logical problem solving.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including working with structured datasets.
• Fluency in English with clear written and verbal communication to collaborate with regional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Research teams across APAC with timely submission and validation of market data.
• Review datasets to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or unusual trends and follow up with teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with preparation and management of quarterly data cycles using agreed standards and processes.
• Maintain and update databases and systems used to store and deliver research data to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor key property market indicators and sense check data against real estate fundamentals.
• Collaborate with APAC Data Operations Team Lead to test, adopt, and improve AI or automation tools that enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the data operations team.

What this job involves:

This role sits within JLL’s APAC Research Data Operations team and plays a key part in ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of property market data across more than 20 Asia Pacific markets. You will support the data that underpins JLL’s research, insights, and client deliverables, working closely withlocal marketResearch teams and internal stakeholders. The role offers strong exposure to large‑scale real estate datasets, regional market dynamics, and emerging AI and automation tools, making it an excellent opportunity for a graduate interested in data‑driven work and buildinga strong foundationin research operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Supporting Research teams across APAC with thetimelysubmission and validation of market data

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience ina data operationsmanagementrole, ideallywithin a commercial real estate agency or related industry

• Prior experience in data analysis and/or database management or experience in data, research, analytics, or a related field

• Bachelor’s degree inEconomics,Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline

• Strong attention to detail and an interest in working withdata intensive‑processes

• Ability to analyse information,identifyissues, and apply logicalproblem solving

• Proficiencyin MS Excel, including working with structured datasets

• Fluency in English with clear written and verbal communication skill to collaborate effectively with regional stakeholders and research teams across APAC.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of a programming language such as Python, or a strong interest in learning it on the job

• Familiarity with data visualisation or analytics tools (e.g.,Power BI, Tableau)

• Experience checking orvalidatingdata quality

• Interest in automation, AI tools, or improving data processes
