Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Development – Asia Pacific (APAC) to support the execution of strategic growth objectives across the region. This role is pivotal in enhancing development deal administration, improving team efficiency, and driving reporting and analytical functions. You will collaborate with regional teams across APAC, providing critical support in development strategy, reporting, retention analysis, and marketing initiatives, while ensuring data accuracy and effective cross-departmental knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting and tracking APAC development strategies, including progress reporting for various markets and business models.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports, including financial reconciliations, approvals, terminations, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Act as a point of contact for development systems (Salesforce, Tableau, and internal reporting tools), ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and training team members.
  • Maintain APAC risk registers, analyse retention trends, and prepare reports for committees and senior leadership.
  • Provide strategic and administrative support to senior leadership in formulating and executing growth plans.
  • Organise and facilitate monthly deal engagement calls, including agenda preparation and meeting notes.
  • Assist in preparing Development Authorities (DA) documents, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
  • Draft and design proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create and maintain development marketing collateral.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of brand portfolios and industry trends to position the organisation competitively.
  • Manage development records, including pitch materials, reports, and industry insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years in development, finance, strategy, hospitality, or related fields, preferably with regional exposure.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
  • Basic financial modelling knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across varying management levels.
  • Good initiative and ability to anticipate business needs.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
