The responsibilities of the candidate will be to provide support to the Head of Corporate Development in two main areas:
Evaluation and execution of Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Divestments
Formation and delivery of ESR Group’s strategy
The candidate will work within the Corporate Development team collaborating with individuals across the ESR business to execute on the activities outlined above.
Key Responsibilities
Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Divestments
Assisting with identification of transaction pipeline
Undertaking research and analysis to support transactions
Assisting in evaluation of transaction and capital structuring
Preparing high-quality, robust financial models and analysis
Drafting presentations, papers and other related materials for management, investors and Boards
Assisting with transaction project management and due diligence, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders (legal, tax, finance, financial and legal advisors etc.)
Reviewing and drafting legal documents from a commercial perspective
Strategy
Assisting in the formation of a clear considered Group strategy
Undertaking strategic research and analysis, including identifying market trends and insights and conducting peer analysis and benchmarking to guide strategy
Collating, analysing and presenting financial information from across the business
Drafting and presenting strategy presentations, papers and other materials to the Board and senior management
Assist in managing implementation and delivery of initiatives identified through the strategy process
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Target candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience working in investment banking, top-tier corporate advisory, real estate funds management, or similar relevant corporate development role
Bachelor’s Degree from top-tier university with an outstanding university academic record
