Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding Singapore Pte Ltd invites an experienced freight planner to join our Singapore team. You will assist in day-to-day freight planning and respond to internal and overseas office enquiries to keep operations moving smoothly.

You will secure airline space for daily bookings, optimize airline blocks, and anticipate demand for uplift capacity to maximize shipments. Collaboration with carriers and teams will be essential to deliver reliable logistics service.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree with at least 4-6 years of work experience.
• Broad understanding of the Air Freight business.
• Ability to handle multiple and hanging priorities.
• Ability to work effectively, independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the freight planning on the day to day tasks.
• Answer to internal and overseas offices enquiries.
• Secure airline space for daily bookings.
• Ensure that all BUPs are fully optimize and maximize.
• Proactively anticipate commercial demand for uplift capacity.
• Monitor for timely update of the airline final load.
• Ensure that complete documents are accompanied for export processing.
• Handle queries and complain from Internal and External customer.
• Maintain and foster good working relationship with carrier.
• Undertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by the company as and when deemed appropriate
