Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive AI Software Developer for the Transport AI Programme. You will design, build, and maintain AI-powered applications that sense, manage, and optimize Singapore's land transport network.

You will collaborate with data scientists and operations teams to translate AI models into production-grade software, integrate LLMs and other AI components, and contribute to safety, observability, and governance across urban transport systems.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software development experience
• 2+ years working on AI/ML-integrated systems
• Proficient in Python and familiar with AI/ML frameworks
• Experience with cloud-native development and containerisation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications across transport use cases
• Integrate LLMs, computer vision, and other AI/ML components
• Optimize models via quantization, pruning, distillation
• Evaluate inference engines and publish performance recommendations
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
• Implement guardrails and observability tooling for production AI
• Collaborate with industry partners on joint development
• Participate in AI safety activities and red-teaming
• Support deployment and ongoing improvement of AI products
