Job summary

EPAM Systems Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML) to design and ship Generative AI solutions for enterprise banking platforms. You will build RAG pipelines, develop agentic systems and take models from prototype to production with strong engineering standards.

Collaborating with data and platform teams, you will deliver reliable, secure AI experiences, iterate on prompts and safety, and uphold best practices in testing, documentation and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ML/DL frameworks and production systems.
• Experience building with LLMs, orchestration frameworks, agents and reasoning patterns.
• Experience designing RAG systems for enterprise data.
• Knowledge of data prep, feature engineering, model selection and production performance.
• Strong math including probability, linear algebra and optimization.
• Familiarity with software engineering practices including Git and testing.
• Strong problem-solving to diagnose complex ML/GenAI issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production-grade ML and Generative AI systems.
• Architect agentic and multi-agent solutions with tool calling workflows.
• Create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines grounded in enterprise data.
• Improve prompt design, safety and response quality through testing and iteration.
• Define evaluation approaches, metrics and benchmarks for model and system performance.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms with data engineers and platform teams.
• Uphold engineering standards through code reviews, testing, documentation and debugging.
