Job summary

Airwallex in Singapore is hiring a (Senior) Software Engineer on the Infrastructure AI team to design, build, and operate goal-oriented AI agents that automate SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows across our global infrastructure.

You will work on Quartermaster, integrate with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, and observability tools, focusing on safe, scalable, and reliable agent systems with strong collaboration across SRE and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages: Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
• Cloud knowledge: AWS, GCP, or Aliyun; Kubernetes; Terraform; CI/CD.
• Strong system design skills for reliable, scalable agent systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Build goal-oriented infrastructure AI agents: Design and implement autonomous agents on the Quartermaster platform that handle SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows — including incident investigation and remediation, infrastructure provisioning, deployment orchestration, database operations, and capacity management.
