Job summary

A*STAR in Singapore is seeking highly experienced Senior AI Engineers to lead the design, implementation, and scaling of AI infrastructure. You will bridge data science and software engineering by building robust pipelines and establishing best practices for model development, deployment and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Software/Platform Eng, DevOps with 3+ years in ML/AI infrastructure.
• Experience designing and maintaining end-to-end ML platforms from the ground up.
• Proficiency in Python and one high-performance backend language (Go/C++/Rust/Java).
• Cloud-native architectures and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative technical leadership on data infrastructure, privacy-first architectures, and AI training approaches.
• Design, build, and optimize a scalable data tech stack and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Establish validation frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Align core data infrastructure with strategic objectives for analytics.
• Bridge technical implementation and strategic narrative in project proposals.
