Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Advanced Engineer to shape the next generation of AI hardware and accelerators.

You will bridge algorithmic innovation and silicon design, advancing low-precision and sparse computing to boost energy efficiency and performance for large AI models. You will lead kernel architecture and hardware-software co-design efforts, collaborating with IC teams to produce technical specs, benchmarks, and patent proposals. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or closely related field.
• Deep knowledge of computer architecture and GPU/NPU microarchitectures.
• Expertise in low-precision quantization and sparsity.
• Proven impact in inference optimization for LLMs or multi-modal models with high-performance kernel work.
• System-level design experience for AI inference accelerators.
• Strong publication record in tier-1 architecture/AI conferences (ISCA/MICRO/HPCA/ASPLOS/NeurIPS/CVPR).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across algorithm, silicon, software, and testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead research into low-precision and sparse computing innovations.
• Design and deploy high-performance kernels (GEMM, related) for AI accelerators.
• Drive hardware-software co-design to improve energy efficiency and throughput.
