Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer III to join the AI / LLM Enablement team, delivering secure, scalable technology to enable compliant access to approved AI/LLM capabilities for China users and supporting business objectives.

You will work in an agile environment delivering UI and backend services, secure production code, and APIs, while leveraging enterprise AI tooling to improve quality, speed, and observability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applied software engineering experience in a large corporate environment.
• Proficiency in Python and ReactJS.
• Experience building and operating services on AWS (networking/security fundamentals, monitoring).
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure inputs/outputs, resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting to deliver UI and backend services enabling compliant LLM access for China users.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains services and APIs that integrate with approved global LLM endpoints and firm platforms.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, with peer review and automated testing.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by software code development.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets/logs/telemetry to improve software applications and systems.
• Identifies hidden problems in operational data to drive improvements in coding hygiene, resiliency, and architecture.
