Job summary

POET Technologies seeks a Senior AI & Data Platform Engineer to build and operate the technical foundation for its Data & AI Transformation initiatives in Singapore. You will own the manufacturing data platform, AI infrastructure, and end-to-end pipelines, from architecture through deployment and monitoring.

Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams, you’ll implement scalable solutions that improve yield, efficiency, and cost while ensuring deterministic, auditable

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Production infrastructure experience with Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on AI/ML infra deployment and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI/ML infrastructure and data pipelines.
• Own production infrastructure across factory and cloud environments.
• Develop scalable manufacturing data platforms and ingestion pipelines.
• Build backend services and automation using Python and web frameworks.
• Deploy and operate AI/LLM solutions and agentic workflows.
• Establish robust engineering practices, testing, monitoring, and version control.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to translate needs into solutions.
