Job summary

sggovterp in Singapore seeks a Senior/Engineer (Additive Manufacturing) for a 2-year contract within the School of Engineering to design and optimise components using Creo, SolidWorks and Siemens NX, focusing on manufacturability and performance.

You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and students, supervise and mentor, contribute to grants and project deliverables, and ensure compliance with standards throughout the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering design, product development, or advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Utilise CAD software to conceptualise, design, and optimise components to meet performance and manufacturability targets.
• Design and develop solutions for additive manufacturing projects within required timelines.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and procurement stakeholders across centres to support product development.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and students where appropriate.
• Evaluate emerging design methodologies and manufacturing technologies to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor students involved in R&D projects and assist in knowledge transfer.
