Job summary

DSTNCT invites an Associate Account Director in Singapore to lead senior client relationships across multi-channel campaigns. You will own end-to-end account management, guide strategy with the strategy team, and ensure profitable delivery while mentoring junior team members.

This role spans digital, social, content, experiential, and branding, requiring strong communication, budgeting, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in account management within an integrated marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
• Experience managing senior client relationships in complex environments.
• Experience working with public sector clients in Singapore is an advantage.
• Strong commercial awareness with hands-on experience managing project budgets and campaign profitability.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Strong strategic thinking – able to connect client business challenges to marketing solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior clients.
• Highly organised with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities.
• Experience contributing to pitches and business development activities.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for senior client stakeholders on assigned accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships.
• Manage client expectations effectively, balancing responsiveness with the agency’s creative and commercial interests.
• Proactively identify and address client concerns before they escalated, involving the Account Director on complex or sensitive matters.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews with confidence, ensuring DSTNCT is positioned as a valued partner.
• Develop familiarity with public sector client requirements, including government procurement conventions, sensitivity protocols, and formal communication standards.
