A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to oversee full-spectrum accounting tasks, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in managing financial operations within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations Management
Handle full-spectrum accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely entries for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense monitoring across multi-currency accounts
Process staff expense claims and reimbursements efficiently and with precision
Ledger and Reconciliation Oversight
Perform regular account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany accounts
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and Right of Use Assets, ensuring correct depreciation schedules
Regulatory Compliance and Controls
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely submission of GST/VAT filings and liaison with tax authorities
Uphold internal control procedures and financial policies to reduce risk exposure
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare journal entries, financial statements, accounting schedules, and internal management reports
Develop ad-hoc reports and financial analyses to meet stakeholder requirements
Perform costing analysis to support operational decisions and improve financial performance
Audit Support
Compile detailed documentation and schedules to facilitate both internal and external audit processes
Treasury and Cash Flow Management
Monitor daily cash positions and manage short-term liquidity
Prepare cash flow forecasts for both short- and long-term planning
Process Optimization and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with various departments to improve financial workflows and boost operational efficiency
Communicate effectively with both local and overseas teams (including China) to ensure aligned financial practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience with comprehensive exposure to full-set accounting; industry experience in manufacturing or recycling is advantageous
Solid understanding of inventory and costing methodologies, as well as ERP systems
Strong grasp of taxation matters, particularly GST/VAT compliance
