A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage general ledger accounts and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Oracle accounting systems is advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX standards in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting
Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries
Provide overall support to the implementation of new accounting systems and finance processes
Ensure comply with company policies, practices and procedures, GAAP, and SOX standards
Ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CA/ ACCA or equivalent
At least 2 - 3 years of experience in General Ledger/ GL accounting role, preferably from a MNC environment
Prior work experience in using Oracle accounting system will be an added advantage
