Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage general ledger accounts and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Oracle accounting systems is advantageous. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting

• Support the preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries

• Provide overall support to the implementation of new accounting systems and finance processes

• Ensure comply with company policies, practices and procedures, GAAP, and SOX standards

• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CA/ ACCA or equivalent

• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in General Ledger/ GL accounting role, preferably from a MNC environment

• Prior work experience in using Oracle accounting system will be an added advantage
