Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to assist in preparing management accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 8-10 years of experience in similar roles.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing of management accounts, including project-level accounting.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. GST, etc).

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Processing of accounts payable.

• Processing of accounts receivable.

• Monitoring of AP’s payment status

• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and banks when required

• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.

2. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction or related industries.

3. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
