A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to assist in preparing management accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 8-10 years of experience in similar roles.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing of management accounts, including project-level accounting.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. GST, etc).
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Processing of accounts payable.
Processing of accounts receivable.
Monitoring of AP’s payment status
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and banks when required
Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction or related industries.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
