Senior Accounts Executive

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Senior Accounts Executive to lead the financial backbone of our business. You'll be managing the full set of accounts and ensuring everything from daily entries to strategic reports runs like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle full set of accounts for all entities in line with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end closings and financial reporting.
  • Oversee AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and system postings.
  • Support project accounting, including financial analysis and job cost tracking.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure accuracy in inter-company transactions across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports.
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, credit notes, and company insurance matters.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, software vendors, and government agencies.
  • Take on ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
What You Bring:
  • A Diploma (or higher) in Accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably in construction/renovation.
  • Strong sense of ownership — you take initiative and meet deadlines like a pro.
  • Organised, analytical, and a solid communicator.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Confident with reporting, financial analysis, and accounting systems.
