Job description

Job Scope:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage full-spectrum accounting functions and provide financial insights directly to the Directors. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience in end-to-end finance operations, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Full Set of Accounts
  • Manage the full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.

  • Handle monthly and year-end closing activities, accruals, and adjustments.

2. Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Provide financial analysis, cash flow statements, and management reports to Directors.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

3. Payment & Cash Flow Management
  • Manage vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and other disbursements.

  • Monitor cash flow and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.

  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.

4. Audit & Compliance
  • Support annual external audits and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Prepare and file tax returns, including GST/VAT or corporate tax as applicable.

6. Leadership & Communication
  • Report directly to the Directors on financial matters, providing insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes support business needs.

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software preferrably Netsuite Oracle

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and responsibly.
