Job Summary
The Executive/ Senior Executive, Finance Settlement plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company by managing settlements with overseas agents and vendors and to ensures accurate and timely processing of financial documents, reconciliation of accounts, and coordination with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
Job Description
- Managed financial interactions with overseas and local agents, including the verification of Statements of Accounts (SOAs) and invoices, with particular attention to high-volume agents to ensure timely and accurate follow-ups.
- Managing full sets of accounts AR/AP/GL, including monthly/quarterly /yearly account closing for Australia entity
- Perform daily accounting operations and month end closing
- Perform inter-company transactions reconciliation
- Prepare audit schedules and bank reconciliation
- Support & prepare documents and materials for auditing & tax purposes
- Liaise with external tax advisors, auditor when necessary
- Gained industry-specific financial experience in the wine and beverage sector, including familiarity with inventory financing, import/export tax considerations, and vendor management within the wine distribution network.
- Worked closely with sales and procurement teams in the wine industry to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and supply chain, supporting business decisions with financial insights.
