Financial Reporting and Month-End Closing

  • Perform monthly closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Prepare management report and analyze variances.

  • Profit and loss (P&L) report and analyze variances.

  • Post and verify the relevant journal entries and any other adjustment journals.

  • Prepare postmortem report during festive seasons.

Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting (ROU FRS 116)

  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset (FA Register).

  • Prepare monthly FA schedule and ensure proper depreciation entries.

  • Review Lease Agreement and manage Right-of-Use (ROU) assets under FRS 116 and ensure compliance.

GST, Taxation and Audit Compliance

  • Quarterly GST Preparation and Submission.

  • Prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) for tax purposes.

  • Review Income Tax Form C and ensure timely submission.

  • Attend to audit inquiries and provide necessary documentation.

Incentives, Royalty, Project Support and others

  • Calculate and prepare monthly outlets’ incentives.

  • Calculate, prepare and submission of royalty fee to licenses.

  • Assist in tender quotations and bidding projects, including cost analysis and financial documentation.

  • Handling Petty Cash Reimbursement.

  • Verification of Outlets Daily Sales Transactions.

  • Other ad-hoc tasks that assigned by immediate superior.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or professional qualification (ACCA) / CAT / LCCI Diploma.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and taxation.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical and able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience in handling audits, tax filings and management reporting.

  • Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong knowledge of FRS / IFRS standards.

Aptitude and Skills

  • Good MS Office skills

  • Proficient in accounting software, eg: BC365.

  • Good interpersonal and communication and effective Writing Skills

  • Able to lead, mentor, inspire and motivate subordinates.

  • Good time-management skills.
