Job summary

A food and beverage company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle a full set of accounts. The ideal candidate will prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, while demonstrating a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero. Applicants should possess a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in F&B or retail industry.
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficient in handling full set of accounts including AP, AR, and GL.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g. GST, IRAS filings)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
• Assist in intercompany transactions and consolidation if required
• Support ad hoc matters as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (F&B or retail industry experience is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is an advantage
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Independent, resourceful, and a team player
