Job summary

Salesforce's APJ Controllership team in Singapore seeks a senior accounting professional focused on Compensation & Benefit, Commission accounting, and related close activities. You will interact with external auditors and internal partners to ensure timely audits and scalable processes leveraging AI-enabled tools.

The role requires a solid foundation in GAAP, SOX, and multi-country ledgers, with at least 7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ in management, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in Public.
• 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.
• Experience with Workday financials and multi-currency ledgers.
• Experience with US GAAP and local GAAP; SOX compliance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvement opportunities and drive regional/global finance initiatives.
• Support month-end close and SOX-compliant journal entries.
• Ensure timely general ledger reconciliations and controls.
• Coordinate with HQ and regional teams on accounting practices.
• Assist during annual audits with external auditors.
• Analyze monthly flux and variance at regional/global levels.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure audits are completed on time.
• Engage in process improvements for reporting and analytics.
