Job summary

Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage daily operations of the Finance and Accounts department in Singapore. You will monitor accounting data, prepare monthly and ad hoc management reports, and drive improvements with self-audit checks.

The role requires 6–8 years in Finance/Accounting, Big 4 experience preferred, and proficiency in Excel and SAP. You will coordinate with Suwon Office and ensure compliance with policy and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years experience in Finance / Accounting with current / prior Big 4 experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP system.
• Strong attention to detail; meticulous with numbers and data.
• Resourceful with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and prepare monthly management reports and ad hoc reports for submission to the management to facilitate management decision making.
• Assess current practices and procedures to make recommendations for improvements and perform self-audit checks.
• Review and approval of expense submissions and month end closing activities/accruals.
• Month-end closing activities to meet the tight deadlines.
• Liaise with external auditor for Quarterly/Yearly audit and K-Sox related.
