Job Description

Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to assist with the financial integration of a recent acquisition. In this role, you will be helping to ensure the seamless integration of revenue and leasing financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with assessment/accounting for leasing transactions in compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including accounting standard (both US GAAP and IFRS), company policies and internal control standards

• Assist with the review of customer contracts to determine revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606/IFRS15 accounting standards and company policies

• Ensure that the revenue and leasing processes to handle the acquiree’s transactions are in place and to adapt/configure them to Equinix’s processes

• Prepares journal entries for posting, flux analysis and reconciliations work as needed

• Conduct thorough analysis of balance sheet fluctuations, investigating any unusual fluctuations and making necessary adjustments

• Participate in system testing, UAT, system changes, enhancements, and bug fixes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting

• Public accounting experience preferred

• Good understanding of US GAAP or IFRS is preferred

• Experience with financial integration is a plus

• Experience with revenue/lease accounting is a plus

• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)

• Strong analytical and process skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
