Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for a financial reporting specialist in Singapore. This role involves managing month-end close, tax compliance, and financial governance under US GAAP. Candidates should hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, possess 5-8 years of experience, and have knowledge of various APAC GAAPs. High proficiency in SAP is a plus. The position offers a contract for 9 months with a salary up to $6500.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end close activities and ensure reporting accuracy under US GAAP.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance across APAC regions.
• Prepare and review tax filings while acting as a key contact for tax-related queries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance.
• Provide support during audits and maintain adherence to internal controls.

* Basic Salary up to $6500

As part of the Finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting financial reporting under US GAAP and local GAAPs, and collaborating across multiple stakeholders and countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible in month-end close activities and ensure reporting accuracy under US GAAP

• Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance (VAT/GST/SST/JCT/WHT/corporate tax) across APAC regions
• Prepare and review tax filings, and act as a key contact for tax-related queries
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance
• Provide support during audits and maintain adherence to internal controls
• Participate in ERP localization projects (S4HANA) and other finance initiatives
• Contribute as an active team player to solve problems and deliver shared outcomes

Job Requirements:

• Min Degree with professional certificates in Accounting/ Finance
• Min 5-8 years of experience in full sets accounting & financial reporting working in a large organization with regional exposur e
• Knowledge and experience in US GAAP, IFRS and other APAC countries GAAPs is essentia l
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Good communication in dealing with stakeholders
