Job summary

GRD Builders PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior accountant to lead month-end consolidation and produce key financial analyses for management.

You will assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, support audits and budgeting, handle banking documents and directors' resolutions, and help improve financial and operational processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years' relevant experience, strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Accountancy or be ACCA/CPA qualified.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with accounting software is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end consolidation, prepare reports and analyses.
• Assist monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting.
• Support year-end audit and budgeting processes.
• Address queries from banks and auditors.
• Prepare banking documents and directors' resolutions.
• Help develop policies to improve financial and operational processes.
• Oversee accounting activities, review and streamline processes for efficiency.
• Assist in tax matters.
• Liaise with bankers, creditors, suppliers, company secretary and other third parties.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
