Senior Accountant (Account Payable) | 12 Months Contract

• Contract Duration: 12 Months

• Salary: $6,000– 6,500

• Location: Chai Chee

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for all key aspects of the Global procure to pay function (including processes for inventory accounting)

• Provide leadership, guidance, resource planning and staff development to the team members

• Review and supervise the team for reconciliations, reports, schedules and Statement of Accounts

• Ensure timely resolution of issues and queries from internal and external parties

• Ensure procedures are in compliance with prevailing corporate policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements

• Ensure all payment transactions are complete, accurate and processed in a timely manner

• Manage monthly and year-end AP closing

• Ensure timely tax submission (GST/Withholding tax)

• Actively review, standardize, streamline and improve procure to pay processes, identifying areas of improvement and automation

• Review and handle exceptions for various systems (Robotic Process Automation, supplier invoice interface system IVI, Coupa, Concur)

• Prepare ad hoc reports and lead/participate in projects as assigned

• Support and respond to Internal and External audit queries

• Support tax/legal reporting requirements

Job Requirements:

• At least a Degree from a well-recognized institution or equivalent

• At least 4 years relevant working experience. People management experience is a must

• CPA or CA licenses are preferred

• Must be proficient in MS Excel/computer savvy; SAP experience is an advantage
