The Senior Accountant will oversee daily operations of GL, AR, and FA functions. Responsibilities include monthly closing, financial and management reporting, audit preparation, bank reconciliation, and supporting the year-end audit. The role involves managing AR tasks such as invoicing, receipts, GIRO collections, and communication with parents. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with Fixed Asset management, projects, and ad-hoc tasks.

The role requires ensuring professional standards in tasks such as:

• Producing accurate financial statements and reports within statutory deadlines.
• Preparing management reports for decision-making.
• Collaborating with the Finance team and auditors for timely closures and compliance.
• Staying updated on statutory, accounting, and tax regulations.
• Supporting AR activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Managing Fixed Assets, inventory, GST, and supporting audit processes.
• Participating in system migrations, process improvements, and digitization projects.
• Handling petty cash and administrative tasks.

**Knowledge and Experience:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent; professional certification (e.g., ACCA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational finance, especially AR.
• Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, charity accounting, and relevant regulations.
• Experience in external audits (CPA firms) preferred.

• Detail-oriented with strong data analytics and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
