Job summary

Boskalis Contracting APAC Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial administration and reporting for one or more entities within the Boskalis Group.

The successful candidate will work with the Singapore office and a diverse team of about 23 people, handling financial statements, reporting packages, budgeting, and coordination with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or professional degree in finance/accountancy is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore FRS, taxation and GST.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts (AR, AP & GL).
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial/management reports.
• Prepare periodic reporting packages to Head Office and external parties.
• Prepare forecast and annual budget.
• Liaise with tax agent for tax return preparation and submission.
• Lead audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects when required.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be working with Singapore office and with the team consisting of around 23 people from different backgrounds. Senior Accountant will be responsible for the financial administration and reporting of one or more entities within the Boskalis Group.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

To include but not limited to:

1. Maintain full set of accounts (AR, AP & GL).
2. Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial/management reports.
3. Prepare periodic reporting packages to Head Office and external parties.
4. Prepare forecast and annual budget.
5. Liaise with tax agent for the preparation and submission of tax return.
6. Lead audit process and liaise with auditors.
7. Preparation of annual financial statements.
8. Ad-hoc assignments and projects when required.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent is preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
3. Good knowledge in Singapore FRS, taxation and GST.

Other Requirements

1. Good command of English (written and spoken).
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Microsoft Excel.
3. Able to perform under work pressure and deadline.
4. Intrinsically motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
