Position Overview

This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive accounting knowledge and experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, bank, and month-end closing activities for one legal entity.
  • Participate in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and schedule preparations.
  • Analyze Trail Balance data, compare with forecasts, identify irregularities, and propose corrections.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, including clearing of accounts.
  • Handle month-end accruals and prepayment amortizations.
  • Verify parked and manual invoices for validity and authorization before journal entry.
  • Prepare monthly AP payments, coordinate with shared services, and process staff claims and payments weekly.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with AP listings and address discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer billing inquiries and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Monitor multi-currency bank balances and execute fund transfers as needed.
  • Process manual bank payments for urgent invoices.
  • Maintain weekly cash flow forecasts and reports.
  • Create sales orders and issue AR invoices.
  • Prepare Form 5 for quarterly GST submissions, manage GST documentation, and support audits.
  • Calculate quarterly income tax provisions and accruals.
  • Manage monthly FCCS actuals, forecasts, and quarterly tax packs, including fluctuation analysis.
  • Coordinate statutory, ISA, and PCAOB audits, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Participate in IPO-related projects and internal control implementations, emphasizing SOX compliance.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Education: Degree in Accountancy or related field.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Preferably ACCA or CA Singapore, with SAP knowledge.
  • Strong audit and accounting expertise.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
