Job summary

Lee Kim Alliance Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Orchard Central Region office on a full-time basis. You will manage complex accounting matters, supervise junior staff, and contribute to growth of our Business Services & Corporate Advisory division providing high-quality accounting and financial advisory services to diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting, and audit
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and local accounting frameworks
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; advanced Excel skills essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly
• Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with accounting standards and best practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalise financial statements and accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
• Conduct financial audits and reviews, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures
• Provide accounting advisory services to clients on financial reporting, accounting treatments, and compliance matters
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff, ensuring quality output and professional development
• Prepare tax compliance documentation and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls documentation
• Support clients with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting services
• Assist in the development and delivery of accounting services and solutions to meet client needs
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with professional standards and firm quality assurance protocols

About the role
