Our client is a leading multinational insurance company. Right now, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their well-established finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting business operations through accurate financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
  • Support internal controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
