Qualifications

About Company:
Our client is a Singapore based accounting firm supporting Japanese companies expanding their business overseas especially in Asia. They provide a wide range of specialist services related to accounting, finance and taxation leveraging on the accountants' qualifications in Japan and Singapore. They also provide consulting services for business expansion from business start-up support accompanying the above expert service.

Job Description:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee and ensure accurate bookkeeping and full set of accounts for multiple clients, including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets and accounting schedules.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statements and supporting schedules) in accordance with SFRS and client requirements.
- Preparing consolidated accounts.
- Prepare and review corporate income tax computations and filings, GST and withholding tax filings; ensure timely submission in compliance with IRAS regulations.
- Advisory support to clients, including guidance on GST treatment, withholding tax and corporate tax implications.
- Prepare and review year-end financial statements
- Act as the main liaison with external auditors; coordinate and manage annual audit processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients; provide timely responses to accounting and tax queries.
- Providing value-added advisory services to customers, including financial processes and compliances on accounting and regulatory matters.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory requirements and professional standards (IRAS, ACRA, SFRS, etc.)
- Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations and industry practices; provide updates and training to team and clients as needed.
- Supervise, guide and review work of junior team members
- Assist in streamlining accounting processes and improving efficiency through automation or best practices.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments/projects assigned by management.

Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Possess ISCA, ACCA, CPA or other equivalent professional qualifications will be a plus point
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in outsourced accounting and/or audit firms.
- Have experience in preparing consolidated accounts is a plus point
- Strong understanding of SFRS and IRAS regulations, including GST, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP B1) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:
- Work location: Shenton Way, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
