Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Mapletree Business City @ Pasir Panjang

Availability: Full-time

Reports To: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Finance Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role involves hands-on accounting, oversight of financial operations, and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

  • Lead the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide variance analysis against actual performance.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including GST/VAT, corporate tax filings, and audit coordination.

  • Assist in cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital monitoring.

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and ensure resolution of audit findings.

  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.

  • Support ERP system implementation, process automation, and efficiency improvements.

  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is required.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience in accounting or financial reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.

  • Proficiency in using ERP system – Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work both independently and in teams.
