Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidation Accountant / Senior Accountant to join our finance team in our Singapore headquarters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general financial operations and consolidation across our regional entities, manage external audits, and acting as a key business partner to the organization. This role reports into the Senior Manager, Finance.

As the Senior Accountant, you will

  • Be a business partner to the organisation, providing financial insights and support for decision-making
  • Be responsible for day-to-day general financial operations around all general accounting activity across the regional companies
  • Maintain and ensure accurate intercompany transactions and accounts
  • Prepare monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules and disclosure notes for the group (SG HQ and regional subsidiaries)
  • Work closely with project managers and department heads to track and manage budget performance for large-scale projects, ensuring accurate cost allocation and revenue recognition in line with organisational goals
  • Mentor junior finance team members and review work from regional subsidiaries to ensure quality deliverables
  • Plan and manage the annual financial audit process, respond on audit findings, resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings
  • Liaise with regional service providers, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities, ensuring compliance with local filings and regulations
  • Support and ensure compliance with all corporate tax & other financial filing requirements
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls to prevent possible fraud and errors
  • Be a key contributor in process improvements, system enhancements, and initiatives
  • Support strategic planning initiatives
  • Support on projects and tasks as assigned

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
  • 5-6 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with group consolidation
  • Strong communication skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to interact with Chinese-speaking vendors for our regional operations.
  • Attention to detail, be organised, resourceful, collaborative, and a self-motivated team player
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team

It would be good to have:

  • Audit experience in an established firm
  • A professional qualification in Accounting (CPA / CA / ACCA)
  • Familiarity, or experience, with large project budget management
