Job Summary

The role of a Senior Accountant responsible for managing group financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance with SFRS/IFRS standards. It involves preparing monthly and annual financial statements, overseeing audits, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning. The position also focuses on improving reporting processes and systems, enhancing internal controls, and collaborating closely with regional finance teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all entities.

Job Descriptions
  • Financial & Management Reporting
    • Prepare monthly consolidation packages and Group financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in compliance with SFRS/IFRS standards.
    • Draft statutory financial statements, notes, and disclosures in accordance with SFRS/IFRS and SGX reporting requirements.
    • Review and analyse management accounts from corporate and regional subsidiaries.
    • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Support half-year and year-end audit processes, including liaising with external auditors to address audit queries.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management
    • Partner with department heads to develop annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts across the Group.
    • Conduct variance analyses and provide actionable insights to support management decisions.
    • Assist in preparing cash flow projections and long-term financial planning.
  • Process & Systems Improvement
    • Develop, implement, and enhance consolidation policies, procedures, and reporting templates.
    • Drive automation and standardisation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Regional Collaboration
    • Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
    • Provide guidance and support to Finance and Accounts Executives.
    • Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting with ACCA / CA qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in group consolidation and financial reporting. Hands-on group consolidation experience is essential.
  • Prior audit experience is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
