Senior Account Manager (Trading Solutions)

Job Description:

Our client is a premier sell-side brokerage providing cutting-edge trading solutions, execution services, and electronic trading platforms for institutional clients, hedge funds, and asset managers. As they continue to expand their footprint, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager – Trading Solutions to drive client success and strengthen partnerships. This person will be responsible for managing key institutional accounts, ensuring seamless execution, and driving adoption of trading platforms, algorithmic trading solutions, and liquidity services. This role requires deep expertise in sell-side electronic trading, market structure, and execution strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management & Growth

• Serve as the primary contact for institutional clients, hedge funds, and asset managers using trading solutions.
• Maintain and grow client relationships to drive trading volumes and platform adoption.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, execution analysis, and trading strategy discussions.

Trading Solutions & Execution Advisory

• Advise clients on execution algorithms, smart order routing, and liquidity strategies.
• Collaborate with internal trading, technology, and product teams to enhance client solutions.
• Provide insights on market microstructure, trading regulations, and execution performance.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify new revenue opportunities by cross-selling and upselling trading solutions.
• Work with sales teams to onboard new clients and ensure seamless integration of trading platforms.
• Stay updated on competitive trends and market innovations in electronic trading and sell-side brokerage.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to MiFID II, SEC, MAS, HKMA, and global trading regulations.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to maintain best execution standards and risk controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• At least 10+ years of experience in institutional account management, electronic trading, or sales trading.
• Strong understanding of sell-side brokerage services, execution algorithms, and market structure.
• Experience working with trading platforms (Bloomberg EMSX, Fidessa, Charles River, or FIX protocol).
• Proven ability to manage institutional client relationships and increase trading volumes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
