Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounting Executive to maintain financial records and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel. Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining the general ledger, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications;

  2. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing schedules and financial reporting packages;

  3. Performing various reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and reconciliations of accounts receivable and payable;

  4. Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;

  5. Assisting with both internal and external audits, as well as preparing tax submissions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations;

  6. Handling intercompany billing, reconciliation, and settlement, potentially across multiple entities or regions;

  7. Ensuring adherence to SFRS and other relevant accounting standards and regulations; and

  8. Performing other duties as assigned, which may include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and other ad-hoc tasks.

  9. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma in Accounting or equivalent

  • At least 3 years of work experience in Finance & Accounting

  • Intermediate to Advance user in Excel

  • Organised, detailed and deadline oriented

  • Confident to liaise with Partners &/or Vendors and Sales team

  • A team player yet able to work well independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive attitude and always seeking for challenges
