Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, prepare GST returns, and supervise junior staff. Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in a CPA firm is an advantage.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare full set of accounts and perform bookkeeping for various clients.
  • Compile financial and management reports and submit GST returns.
  • Supervise junior accounting staff and liaise with auditors.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Able to prepare full set of accounts and perform Bookkeeping functions on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis for different types of companies and businesses

Able to prepare and compile financial and management reports

Preparation, submission and filing of GST returns for our clients

Preparation of Audit Schedules and liaising with external auditor during Annual Audit

Having relevant knowledge of corporate and personal tax and handle simple tax computation and able to liaise with IRAS if necessary

Supervise, review and correct the work of junior accounting staff

Any other duties/tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Diploma in Accounting/bachelor’s degree in accounting at least 5 years of relevant working experience

Work experience in a CPA firm would be an added advantage

Experience in handling various industries accounting will be an added advantage

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software e.g. MYOB, AUTOCOUNT, XERO

Must be initiative, multi-tasking, work independently, hardworking and meets tight deadlines

Good interpersonal, communication and ability to work under pressure

Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred (to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients)
