Familiarity with test equipment and documentation is required; the position offers a structured 12-month contract, with training and potential renewal, and shift work including night and evening shifts with allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec qualification.
• Able to perform electro-mechanical assembly.
• Comfortable in clean room environment and may need to squat for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and test electromechanical assemblies per instructions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose errors in the build process.
• Use test fixtures, measurement tools, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to evaluate performance.
• Record progress and labor details in computer systems.
• Inspect parts, verify materials, and audit readiness for assembly or repair.
• Assist with programming or system repairs as needed.
