Job summary

Goldtech Resources Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to perform functional, electrical and operational testing of semiconductor machines. You will test machine components, sensors, motors, robots, interlocks and safety systems, following SOPs and work instructions.

The role requires reading electrical and mechanical drawings, basic computer skills, and a proactive problem-solver who can work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Professional Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Experience in equipment assembly, machine testing or troubleshooting preferred.
• Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and simple English communication.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to follow SOPs, safety and quality requirements.
• Responsible, independent and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, electrical and operational testing of semiconductor machines.
• Test machine components, sensors, motors, robots, interlocks and safety systems.
• Follow approved testing procedures, SOPs, OMS and work instructions.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system issues.
• Investigate test failures and assist with root cause analysis.
• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and QA teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct retesting after repairs or corrective actions.
• Complete test reports, logs and production documentation.
• Update test results and machine status in the manufacturing system.
• Ensure machines meet quality standards before final inspection and shipment.

Education
