Job summary

Wanco Manpower Pte Ltd on behalf of our client, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, invites applications for a Technician / Associate Engineer in the North Region, Singapore. This permanent role follows a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern, typically 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, setup, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Automation and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Technician requires NITEC/Higher NITEC in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Associate Engineer requires Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Support machine conversion, device setup, and production line sustaining.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support evaluations, qualifications, and NPI.
• Assist Process Engineers with recipe setup, process qualification, and productivity improvements.
• Collect engineering data and troubleshoot process-related issues.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, QA, Automation and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
