Job summary

You will set up semiconductor processing equipment to strict specifications and help ensure high-yield, reliable production. You will monitor operations, generate detailed records, and troubleshoot tool issues to improve uptime and efficiency while collaborating with multiple teams across the fabrication floor.

Qualifications

• A relevant Diploma in any Engineering courses or equivalent working experience.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical tests and experiments for process and R&D engineering in wafer fabrication.
• Set up semiconductor processing equipment to strict specifications.
• Monitor, audit, and mentor line operators to achieve world-class results.
• Process test runs and prepare detailed records, charts, and graphs of results for engineering review.
• Work on Fab equipment and processes to ensure outstanding performance.
• Track, preserve, and refine equipment and processes via basic troubleshooting of tool issues.
• Analyze and dispose out-of-control events per SPC rules for tool qualification and product measurements.
• Assist engineering requests through testing and experimentation on processes and equipment, gathering data.
• Assist in installation, relocation, and upgrades of tools.
• Improve tool uptime through detailed problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Detail maintenance performed in check sheets and tracking programs, reviewing regularly.
• Partner with other areas to solve issues collaboratively.
• Support TPM and 6S activities to maintain a flawless work environment.
