Job summary

APPLIED MATERIALS SINGAPORE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance technician to support daily planning, perform preventive and remedial maintenance on AMAT systems, and assist in start-ups and retrofits. You will work with Amat Process personnel to troubleshoot issues and ensure uptime across the rotation of tasks.

The ideal candidate holds an ITE or Diploma in Engineering, has basic semiconductor process knowledge, and experience with AMAT equipment; shifts may be introduced later.

Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies.
• Basic understanding on semiconductor process/ equipment is preferred.
• Past experiences in handling AMAT equipment will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to commit normal work hours (Mon-Fri) initially, with potential shift changes later.

Responsibilities

• Assists Tool owner in planning the daily work schedule within assigned territory to ensure completion of Preventive Maintenance and remedial maintenance.
• Uses escalation policies as required to keep management informed of down situations.
• Performs periodic maintenance (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual) on systems and conducts wet cleans as needed.
• Collaborates with Amat Process personnel in operation and maintenance; troubleshoots process variations with senior engineers.
• Assists in start-up, retrofit and CIPs; provides guidance to less experienced Applied personnel.
• Develops plans to increase productivity and tracks equipment performance; familiarity with SPC and quality improvement concepts.
