You will collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot vacuum, electrical, and mechanical subsystems, ensuring reliable tool readiness and successful pre-process acceptance. This role demands hands-on problem solving in high-tech manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Semiconductor Engineering.
• 2–5 years of field service or installation experience with semiconductor capital equipment.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware and perform pre-commissioning checks prior to process acceptance testing.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across vacuum, electrical, mechanical, and gas delivery systems.
• Assist with system power-on, testing, and calibration of capital equipment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Semiconductor Equipment Engineer to support system installation, hardware integration, and commissioning up to pre-process acceptance. Working alongside senior engineering specialists, you will troubleshoot and validate critical mechanical, electrical, and vacuum subsystems to ensure flawless tool readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Installation & Commissioning: Execute hardware installation, subsystem assembly, and pre-commissioning checks prior to process acceptance testing.
• First-Line Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve immediate hardware issues across vacuum, electrical, mechanical, and gas delivery systems.
• Integration & Testing: Assist senior engineers in system power-on, functional testing, and calibration of advanced capital equipment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with customer site teams and internal specialists to maintain project schedules and compliance standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Semiconductor Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of field service or installation experience with semiconductor capital equipment (e.g., MOCVD, CVD, PVD, or vacuum process tools).
• Technical Expertise: Solid hands-on experience in vacuum systems, leak detection, power distribution, and mechanical drive systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting multi-disciplinary engineering problems (Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum). Experience working within semiconductor fabrication plants or high-tech manufacturing facilities.
• Attributes: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, proactive communication, and ability to work effectively under field conditions.
