Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on electro-mechanical technician to perform routine design, testing, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.

You will work from schematics and plans, test and troubleshoot system-level issues, and support installations and field upgrades. Maintain safety standards and contribute to documentation and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
• Hands-on experience in cleanroom environments, equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electro-mechanical technical functions including design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
• Support new system installations, NPI installations, and field upgrades.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation utilizing strong technical writing skills.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms as per documentation.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
• Attend health and safety training and comply with policies.
• Report accidents, injuries, hazards, and emergencies to Supervisors.
• Follow operating instructions and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials.
• Contribute to accident and injury prevention initiatives.
• Develop familiarity with current manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Perform rework from testing outcomes when required.
• Generate and manage Quality Notifications in QA processes.
