Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our Selenium automation framework. The role centers on maintaining and enhancing test scripts, debugging failures, and ensuring reliable CI/CD workflows.

You will work with Java or Python, run tests via Jenkins, and document defects and results. Independent work with guidance for complex issues, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on Selenium automation experience.
• Basic to intermediate programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python).
• Ability to work independently with guidance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing Selenium automation scripts to support testing.
• Execute automated test scripts using Jenkins and troubleshoot issues.
• Debug Selenium scripts to identify root causes of failures.
• Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Analyze results, document defects, and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Perform regular script maintenance to improve stability and efficiency.
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and defect logs.
• Work independently on automation tasks with guidance for complex issues.
• Adopt CI/CD practices and automation best practices to improve testing.
