Overview

Security Supervisor (Conrad Singapore Orchard) at Hilton. Location: Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, Two Temasek Boulevard, Singapore 38982. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and professional service of Security, while ensuring safety and security in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the Conrad hotel and Hilton Group.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and organizing the Security Officer roster and duties.
  • Be in charge of the Hotel Security Control Room and day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure all official security documents are handled accurately in accordance with SOP.
  • Manage access points to ensure all entries are authorized.
  • Maintain vigilance at pass counters for colleagues, part-timers, casual laborers, vendors, contractors, and visitors checking in.
  • Manage the Visitor Management System for visitors, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage the Casual labor system for casual laborers and part-timers.
  • Monitor CCTV coverage and highlight any issues.
  • Perform static lobby/convention centre coverage and duty.
  • Perform roving security and safety clocking patrols within and around the hotel premises.
  • Patrol guest floors and core back-of-house areas.
  • Enforce deployment tasks as assigned and according to deployment schedule.
  • Ensure security systems are in working order and raise maintenance reports when needed.
  • Coordinate night transport for colleagues.
  • Respond to security, safety and medical emergencies promptly; participate in the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
  • Conduct inventory checks of keys and passes; handle Loss & Found findings and inquiries.
  • Provide lift control and VIP handling; perform First Aid/CPR/AED if required.
  • Respond to and resolve safe box issues; conduct crowd control and ushering as needed.
  • Gather and document information during security, safety and medical emergencies.
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned by hotel management; maintain a chronological log of incidents.
  • Manage and address alarms on Fire & Life Safety systems, and on duress and emergency systems.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of CCTV system for investigations and training purposes.
  • Assist in training all employees in Security and Fire safety responsibilities and specific training for Security Officers.
  • Keep Assistant Security Manager informed of security-related matters; assist in investigations and maintain confidentiality of records.
  • Brief and de-brief Security Officers on latest instructions; enforce hotel rules and regulations.
  • Relieve and cover Security Officers as required; participate in roll calls and daily security reporting.
  • Prepare and conduct roll calls/parades and compile the Daily Security Report, including guest complaints, incidents, property damage, valuables recovery, VVIP function outcomes, security flaws and remedial actions.
  • Attend to any other duties as required by management; support cross-department collaboration related to security.
What are we looking for?
  • Proficient in English – strong reading, writing and oral communication skills.
  • Certified in CPR, First Aid, Firefighting, and Crowd Control.
  • Holds a valid PLRD Security Licence (or able to obtain one).
  • Background in Law Enforcement and Security (e.g., police, military police, or security officer).
  • Preferably experienced in hotel or hospitality security settings.
  • Team Leader/Supervisory Skills with ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable and flexible with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Team-oriented and able to cooperate with various departments.
  • Willing to work extended shifts when required, especially during high-demand periods or VIP visits.
