Hyundai Motor Group is seeking a Security Manager to ensure the safety and security of its premises and personnel in Singapore. The role focuses on implementing robust security measures, incident management, and supporting the General Affairs team in promoting operational efficiency and workplace safety. Preferred candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Security Management with substantial experience in facility security.
This position ensures the safety and security of the company’s premises, employees, assets, and visitors, while supporting various functions within the General Affairs (GA) department. Responsibilities include implementing security policies, enhancing infrastructure and systems, and responding promptly to management directives. The role also contributes to business support, facility management, and employee welfare, promoting overall operational efficiency and workplace safety.
[Security Operations & Infrastructure]
Plan and implement physical security measures in alignment with management instructions.
Collaborate with security providers to build and maintain infrastructure and IT systems for efficient operations.
Manage access control systems (e.g., key cards, biometrics) and conduct regular security checks on entry points and perimeter defenses.
Coordinate security for special events and executive visits.
[Incident Management & Compliance]
Respond to and investigate incidents, alarms, and emergencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
[Training, Visitor Management & Documentation]
Conduct training sessions and drills for employees on security protocols and emergency procedures.
Manage visitor registration and badge issuance.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including incident reports, access logs, and emergency procedures.
[General Affairs Support]
Assist with business support, facility management, and employee welfare within the General Affairs team.
Support the implementation of policies related to safety, security, and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field (preferred).
5–8 years of experience in physical security, facility security, or a related field.
Solid understanding of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Proficient in data management and report writing.
Strong knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
Certification such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) is a plus.
Familiarity with applicable local laws and regulations regarding workplace security and safety.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic security software platforms.
